Brown Bag Films nominated for 3 Daytime Emmy Awards

Dublin based animation studio Brown Bag Films have been nominated for three awards at the 42nd Daytime Emmy Awards, with both Peter Rabbit and Doc McStuffins receiving nominations!

The studio is guaranteed at least one win, with Peter Rabbit Storyboard Artist Mårten Jönmark winning the Outstanding Individual Achievement Award in Animation for the second year in a row.

Their other two nominations are for Outstanding Directing in an Animated Program, again for Peter Rabbit, with Supervising Director David McCamley, Episodic Director Dino Athanassiou, and Animation Director Maurizio Parimbelli the nominees; and Outstanding Writing in a Preschool Animated Program for Doc McStuffins, with Executive Producer/Story Editor/Creator Chris Nee, and Writers Kerri Grant and Kent Redeker the nominees.

The winners of the Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation award were chosen from over 130 entries by a live, juried panel in Los Angeles and will be awarded the prestigious Emmy Award at the Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards on April 24, 2015.

The Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards gala will be held at the Universal Hilton on Friday, April 24th, 2015.
